Carmel Valley Chocolates

Carmel Valley Chocolates (Pistachio and Mandarine)is dark chocolate sweetened with organic raw sugar and dairy free. A 100g block containes 64% cocoa solids making it extremely good quality chocolate and at $6.50 a consumer would think so.

The cocoa liquor is imported from the Ivory Coast and Ghana and contains roasted pistachios and candied mandarine, natural vanilla and organic whole bean soya. The label describes the chocolate as being handmade in small batches in a boutique factory in the Hills of Perth. I am not a fan of dark chocolate but this chocolate with its whole roasted pistachios and mild mandarine flavour is just divine.

Other flavours included organic sultana and almond, macadamia nut and hazel nut.
